Helicopter School Rates and Financing

Price List

Ground Instruction is $50 per hour. For Flight instruction, the price listed is the total price per Hobbs meter hour, which includes all fees, fuel, insurance and taxes. 0.3 hours of ground instruction will be charged for pre- and post- flight time.

Refund Policy

Alyeska Helicopters does not issue refunds for prior payment deposits and encourages a "pay as you go" system. If a refund is required due to weather cancellation or other causes, it will be subject to Alyeska Helicopters' discretion. Deposits may be applied to a future flights or ground instruction.

Student Loans

We are continually working on new opportunities for students financing helicopter training. The Whirly Girls have scholarship programs for lady pilots who have completed their private license.
